Expert Trip to Cyber Week Tel Aviv 2025

The German-Israeli Energy Partnership participated in Cyber Week Tel Aviv 2025 together with an expert delegation consisting of representatives from the German Federal Ministry of the Interior, German academia and the private sector. This was the largest delegation to Israel taking place within the Energy Partnership.
Cyber Week Tel Aviv 2025 is one of the world’s leading international cybersecurity conferences, bringing together a global community of experts, innovators, and decision-makers. This conference offers unique insights, thought-provoking panels, and hands-on sessions focused on the latest trends, challenges and solutions in cybersecurity.
The conference mainly focused on the following topics: Cloud Security & Zero Trust Architecture; Cyber Resilience & Critical Infrastructure Protection; Cybersecurity in Geopolitics; Data Privacy & Regulatory Compliance; and Cybersecurity for Emerging Tech.
Participants had the opportunity to take part in the conference’s programme, meet Israeli stakeholders in bilateral meetings, visit local energy companies and take part in a bilateral side event on the topic of cybersecurity of PV systems.
During this interactive workshop, participants were able to compare national approaches and jointly explore strategies for securing cloud-connected PV systems. It provided unique insights into the topic. The outcomes will serve as a basis for a joint white paper outlining actionable recommendations.
The delegation to Cyber Week Tel Aviv 2025 was a great success. Engaging in productive discussions and thematic roundtables, the delegation trip strengthened German-Israeli cooperation on cybersecurity in the energy sector.
