Workshop on Planning and Management of Hydrogen Hubs – Best Practices from Germany

On December 11 2024, the German-Israeli Energy Partnership held a workshop for the Multi Sector Hydrogen Forum on behalf of the Israeli Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. The objective of this workshop was to gain insights into Best Practices from the establishment and organisation of German Hydrogen Hubs. Core questions included the physical and technical framework regarding targeted hydrogen production capacities as well as financial (i.e. how is the project financed) and regulatory characteristics and associated challenges. Other core questions address the formation of consortia, their way of organisation, the decision of leadership and monitoring processes.
