Workshop on Drivers and Barriers for Scaling up E-Mobility: Lessons learned from Israel and Germany

On December 9-10 2024, a two-part workshop on “Drivers and barriers for the expansion of e-mobility: experiences from Israel and Germany” took place. Participants came from the Israeli Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, and the German and Israeli private sector and associations.

The objective of the workshop was to discuss E-mobility strategies, including the legal framework, technical standards and business models between Germany and Israel. Furthermore, the aim was to equip the participants with the knowledge and tools to advance e-mobility, including the development of charging infrastructure and the integration of e-mobility into the electricity system as well as to promote opportunities for ongoing collaboration between Germany and Israel in the field of e-mobility and the energy transition.
