Israeli Delegation in Berlin: H2 – Readiness and Green Hydrogen

Between 13 – 16 March 2023, the German Energy Agency hosted a delegation from Israel in Berlin. The delegation comprised of members from the Israeli Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure and prominent leaders in the hydrogen industry.

During their stay, the delegation took part in a series of workshops and excursions where they met with key figures in the German hydrogen industry.

The discussions focused on various aspects of H₂, including a readiness strategy, hydrogen production methods, safety requirements, and the potential of repurposing natural gas infrastructure.

Overall, the purpose of the visit was to explore possibilities for further collaboration between Germany and Israel in the burgeoning field of hydrogen and ways of leveraging each other's strengths to achieve common goals.
