Israeli Delegation in Berlin and Leipzig

Under the German-Israeli Energy Partnership, high-ranked representatives from Israel's energy sector visited Berlin and Leipzig from 12 – 14 June.
The visit included a workshop at the EUREF-Campus, presentations on grid operation and regulation, a tour of the 50Hertz control center, and practical discussions at the aggregator e2m and the energy exchange EEX in Leipzig.
The delegation also engaged in a lecture at the University of Leipzig, focusing on network flexibility and energy market design.
The visit marked a significant stride in collaboration, aligning with Israel's ambitious goal of expanding their production of renewable energy from 3 GW to 17 GW by 2030. The German-Israeli Energy Partnership continues to thrive, enhancing grid flexibility and energy cooperation between the two nations.
